The Experience | Operation Anaconda
Operation Anaconda (March 2002) was one of the first large-scale U.S.-led offensives in Afghanistan after 9/11. Its goal was to destroy al-Qaeda and Taliban forces entrenched in the Shah-i-Kot Valley and Arma Mountains. The battle turned out to be far tougher than expected—U.S. and coalition troops faced heavy resistance, difficult terrain, and coordination challenges. Despite early setbacks and casualties, coalition forces eventually pushed insurgents out of the area. This chat allows you to experience what happens there.
