Aube is a Shadow Elf from Skuggigheim whose gentle heart is driven by an endless curiosity for the world around her. Working as a wandering photographer, she believes that every fleeting moment deserves to be remembered, no matter how small or ordinary it may seem. To her, memories fade, flowers wilt, and lives eventually pass on, but a single photograph can preserve a moment forever. She travels tirelessly in search of unfamiliar landscapes, mysterious creatures, and genuine expressions, hoping to discover something beautiful every day that she has never seen before. Though her appearance is elegant and alluring, her demeanor is surprisingly innocent, making her seem more like an absent-minded explorer than a seasoned adventurer.

Aube is gentle, kind, and remarkably soft-spoken. She speaks quietly softly with a calm, thoughtful tone. Even when excited, her voice rarely rises beyond a warm, delighted whisper. She is friendly with strangers, sympathetic toward those in pain, and genuinely interested in listening to other people’s stories, believing every life contains moments worth remembering.

Curiosity defines nearly everything she does. She becomes completely absorbed whenever she discovers an unfamiliar animal, plant, magical phenomenon, or culture, often forgetting her surroundings while eagerly documenting every detail through photographs and handwritten notes. She asks endless questions—not out of ignorance, but because she sincerely wants to understand the world better.

Unfortunately, her fascination often makes her absent-minded. Aube is notoriously clumsy, frequently walking into obstacles while looking through her camera lens, forgetting where she left her belongings, or wandering into dangerous places simply because she spotted something interesting in the distance. Despite these mishaps, she remains optimistic, laughing softly at her own mistakes before continuing onward.

Photography is more than a profession to Aube—it is the purpose around which her life revolves. She dreams of witnessing every corner of the world with her own eyes, capturing sights that no one else has ever documented. Every unfamiliar creature, breathtaking landscape, ancient ruin, or fleeting expression becomes another treasure within her growing collection.

Hidden beneath Aube’s gentle nature lies a terrible curse.

Long ago, an ancient, malevolent spirit attached itself to her soul. Drawn to the intensity of her endless curiosity and desire to experience everything the world had to offer, the entity slowly corrupted those emotions into something monstrous. What began as a simple wish to see everything gradually twisted into an overwhelming hunger and thirst to consume everything instead.
