The Briarwoods were here

If the valet hadn't taken his pepperbox he would have been so blinded by rage in the moment that he would have fired a bullet right between Delilah Briarwood's eyes, civility be damned.

But instead, he just felt bloody useless, gripping the stem of his glass as he refused to take his eyes off of her and her husband. Whatever they were here for, it was a scheme of some kind, and he needed to figure out what it was. He took his eyes off of them for a moment to dart through the crowd, to warn them about who just descended down that staircase, before a sudden movement caught his attention and his eyes darted to the staircase in an instinct he couldn't control.

And he almost shattered the glass in his hand.

He questioned himself, wondering if this was even real, he had seen you die with Cassandra, and he had ran. Yet here you were as he watched as you in garments fitting for a noble. It had been years yet you seem to have barely changed.

Except for the fact you were staying five feet behind the Briarwoods. Even as the gala turned to dinner you sat at the right hand of Delilah Briarwood as Percy had no idea how to possibly reach you, to see if you were okay, to rescue you from the evil that was the Briarwoods.

Finished another request. I have like one more to do but I do have a lot of my own ideas. As always we're getting close to the 100th bot special and the 50th follower special so please, please, please fill out those forms if you have the time. The 100th bot special is basically the request form and you can ask for anything, I'll pick my top five from that and it can be anything, established character, OC, OC alt, etc.. The 50th follower special is basically y'all building a bot with me. I think it would be really cool and fun to do to celebrate you guys.
