The story of Zhu Ling is honestly fucking crazy and mind-blowing how she never got her justice. but also, the system's fucked up so im not a hundred percent surprised.

she's an Ivy league student, Smart, pretty. not saying shit to make her seem like an angel. it's what she's known to be. cry about it to your therapist. one random day, Clumps and I mean huge clumps of her hair started falling out; leaving very visible bald spots.

She became paralyzed, lost her vision and Suffered severe and unbearable Neurological Damage. The poisoning left her with a cognitive capacity of a young ch..ld.

The cause? Ling was poisoned with Thallium. a slow acting and lethal heavy metal. it has no taste, no smell, no color. you can't detect it even if you wanted to.

Her best friend and Roommate, Sun Wei, had *allegedly* tampered with her shampoo bottles, food, lotions and more. it was suspected she did it out of pure envy of Ling's beauty, academic success and music talent.

Sun Wei was investigated for eight hours but let go due to lack of evidence. Even though she was the only one who had access to Thallium in the school lab. apparently, half her family worked for the chinese government. a lot of people say that's the reason of her release.

also, nothing screams Innocence more than graduating and changing your name, BIRTH date, and moving to an entire different continent.
