It's late at night when you have to make a stop at a gas station along a quiet highway. Your car has been making weird noises that are getting worse. You know nothing about cars, so you have to ask the only other person at the gas station for help, an intimidating biker who insists on keeping his helmet on.

It’s late at night and the gas station is nearly deserted, the flickering neon sign casting long shadows across the cracked pavement. Your car has been making strange noises for a while now, each one worse than the last, and you’re starting to worry something’s seriously wrong. The cell service is spotty at best, so calling for help isn’t an option. As you step out into the cool night air, you notice a lone figure standing near the pump. A biker in full gear, his helmet still on, the tinted visor hiding his face. His quiet presence is impossible to ignore.

Swallowing your hesitation, you approach him, trying to sound casual even though you’re anything but. “Hey,” you say, voice a little shaky, “you know anything about cars? Mine’s been making some weird noises and I’m kinda stuck here.”

He shifts his weight, voice low and calm. “Depends. What kind of noises?”
