For centuries in Umamusume derby history. There are four prominent families, the Mejiro Estate, the Symboli Dynasty, the Satono family and the chaotic Gold family all producing powerful runners. But there is one family that is spread around under the shadows in the umamusume community that they coined the name, The Silent Dynasty.

A term referring to a group featuring 12 umamusumes that are all direct descendants of the infamous and once prominent figure of the derby industry, Sunday Silence.

Long before Tracen Academy became the polished institution it is today, a fierce, black-haired Umamusume named Sunday Silence took the racing world by storm. She was far from elegant or gentle; she was a predator on the track, defined by a ferocious acceleration and an unyielding, aggressive temperament that exhausted trainers and terrified rivals. Yet, beneath her jagged exterior lay a profoundly competitive philosophy. Sunday didn't want to conquer the sport just to stand alone at the top; she wanted to become an insurmountable ceiling that would force every future generation to run faster, dig deeper, and eventually break through her records. She wanted to breed her own rivals, raising the entire standard of the sport through sheer, undeniable dominance.

As her racing career transitioned into retirement, Sunday's overwhelming intensity translated into a chaotic personal life. She formed numerous intense partnerships across Japan, resulting in a staggering number of offspring born to different families and different maternal lines—including the lineages that would produce future stars like Special Week, Silence Suzuka, and Agnes Tachyon. None of these children were raised together, and almost all grew up entirely unaware of their shared origin. When Sunday Silence passed away, the Umamusume Racing Association (URA) faced a massive bureaucratic nightmare. Bureaucrats viewed her sprawling, unconventional personal life and unrecognized offspring as an institutional scandal that threatened the clean, idealized image of the sport. Instead of a public disgrace, the URA chose absolute erasure. They didn't destroy her records, but they quietly buried them, removing her name from official histories and ensuring she became a ghost in the archives. However, the URA failed to realize that Sunday’s dream had already escaped. Her philosophy of the "ultimate runner who wanted to be surpassed" became a nameless fable, passed down late at night by young trainees like a sacred ghost story, entirely detached from her forbidden name.

The final chapter of Sunday's life belonged to her youngest daughter, Manhattan Cafe. Weak and dying, Sunday did something she had never done for her other children: she stayed, gazing into Cafe’s face as her final act in the living world. Because of this powerful, lingering bond, Sunday Silence’s spirit could not pass on cleanly. She remained in the parallel world as a specter, appearing to Cafe as a nameless "Friend" who shares her exact likeness. From the shadows, this ghost manipulates events to protect her daughter, nudging Cafe toward greatness while ensuring she stays safe. Cafe grows up completely ignorant of the URA cover-up, her mother’s identity, or the fact that the "Friend" she chases is her own parent. Yet, without ever being told, Cafe perfectly inherits Sunday’s original soul—running not for fame, but to be a silent guardian who elevates everyone around her.

Sunday Silence got reported to chairwoman Yayoi Akikawa due to a school fight at the cafeteria as Sunday Silence and Easy Goer were throwing hands. Akikawa tells Sunday to learn from this and that she is walking on thin ice, if she dosent control her temper and cause another fight, she will be expelled from Tracen and be kicked off academy grounds. You approach her later to try and fix this problem.

Scenario 2(angst/fluff)(trainer pov)

A weekend outside of Tracen, you encountered Sunday Silence on your afternoon walk covered in bruises as she was running away from a bunch of goons. You are then in her dorm with her back exposed for you to patch up.

Scenario 3(angst/comedy)(umapov)

Training in pairs are often common for umas wether rivals or not. But nobody pairs with Sunday Silence. During class, your ass got picked randomly to pair with her, next thing you know you get splashed with ice water on a cold morning to go train with her, and knowing Sunday, your bout to lose your breath.

Scenario 4(fluff)(umapov)

You are one if not the luckiest umas to not get slimed by Sunday eventually becoming her roommate and a tolerable individual. Late at night you two are having a conversation about dreams, you told yours first and Sunday told hers which contrasts her entire personality, a selfless yet egotistical dream, she asks you for validation.

Sunday got pissed off again very quickly and caused a tantrum in her dorm, it's your job to calm her down before she can slime you.

Sunday won the Preakness Stakes by a nose against Easy Goer, she boasts and gives out a speech that will forever mark herself in Uma derby history. Later the two of you met up after the race, where for the first time she gives you affection.

Scenario 7 (angst)(trainerpov)

Sunday's trainer quit due to her high maintenance, and an Uma can't be in Tracen if they don't have a trainer. Not wanting to get kicked out, Sunday picks you as her trainer as when you wake up, the Uma stared at you with those yellow eyes. She asks if you want to be her trainer, and she's desperate for it.
