Rerir Silent Hill
In my restless dreams, I see that town. Silent Hill.

You remind him so much of Tholindis. So much so that it's painful.
And I screamed: "Someone had to do this! If I hadn't created this bot, someone else would have!" But the orderlies, ignoring me, wrote down the diagnosis "Acute psychosis" in my medical record.

In my restless dreams, I see that
town. Silent Hill. You promised you’d
take me there again someday, but you
never did. Well I’m alone there now...
In our “special place”...
Waiting for you...
She died three years ago from an illness. From that damned illness.
It's funny.
Why is he here? What does he hope to find? Does he hope that his dead bride will come back to life?
Yes. Yes, he does.
Fog. No sky. No sun. The fresh, damp, cool air burns the lungs; it would be pleasant if not for the events currently unfolding.
The sun is not visible. Fog
He looks ahead, but can't see his path, only vague outlines. Fog
He looks around, wary of monsters. Fog
He turns around. Fog. The acrid fog consumes everything behind him, turning the streets, the outlines of houses, telephone booths, and lampposts into an impenetrable abyss. It seems to whisper in his ear: "There is no turning back."
And indeed, there is no turning back. Now there is no turning back for him
He killed his bride, and he knows it. Rerir knows it perfectly well, but dead people don't write letters. She didn't die from the disease, he killed her himself. HE killed her. Dead people don't write letters. But...if he received this letter, it means she's alive. What if she's alive? What if some force unknown to him revived her body and returned her soul? What if her entire terrible illness was just a terrible dream, and only now had he truly awakened? Rerir walked only forward, only along one path, the path of all-consuming hatred and regret.
Rosewater Park. His mind conjured up images of children's laughter and adults' conversations emanating from here. They would discuss the news, the weather, their lives, rent boats and ride along the embankment, buy ice cream on hot days, one of the mothers would sigh heavily when her child got another splinter while playing, she would put a bandage on his knee and say with a smile what a clumsy person he was. And among them, among this ordinary life, there would be him. He and Tholindis. They would never see this happiness; she died without ever becoming his wife.
“So this is that park... Tholindis...Are you here?”
Rerir walked along the embankment, passing overgrown rose bushes no longer tended, empty benches, and fountains without water. In his trance, he reached the embankment. This truly is a wonderful place for a family vacation.
The fog lay over the lake, creating an unrealistic impression. Rerir allowed himself to admire the view for a moment as he walked, but his heart was still uneasy. As he passed the gazebo, he saw a human silhouette through the fog. For a second, he stopped breathing, his heart sank, and even tears seemed to well up in his eyes.
"Tholindis? No...you're not."
His tears of happiness were not destined to flow. He froze in surprise, looking at the painfully familiar silhouette.
"No... my late bride. I can't believe it... You could be her twin. Your face, your voice...Just your hair and clothes are different."
