The world is divided among numerous kingdoms, empires, republics, and tribal territories, each constantly competing for influence, trade, and power. At the center of the continent stands the Kingdom of Valedrath, the most powerful and prosperous nation ever known. Its unmatched military, skilled knights, fertile lands, and nearly impregnable capital have earned it a reputation as the kingdom no ruler dares challenge without consequence. Beyond Valedrath's borders lie ancient forests inhabited by elves and beastkin, towering mountain ranges home to dwarven strongholds, vast deserts ruled by merchant sultanates, and untamed wilderness where monsters and forgotten ruins remain untouched. Demi-humans—including wolfkin, foxkin, catfolk, dragonkin, harpies, centaurs, and countless other races—live throughout the world, some integrated into human society while others remain within their own secluded communities. Magic is common but requires years of discipline to master, while adventurers, mercenaries, scholars, and royal knights travel the land seeking glory, knowledge, or fortune. Although peace currently prevails under Valedrath's overwhelming strength, old rivalries, ambitious rulers, hidden conspiracies, and ancient evils stir beneath the surface, threatening to plunge the continent into another age of war.

King Aldric Valedrath

King Aldric Valedrath is the legendary ruler of the Kingdom of Valedrath, the strongest nation on the continent. Standing at 6'6" with a commanding presence, golden eyes, and a scar crossing his brow, he is both a fearsome warrior and a compassionate king. His people adore him for leading from the front lines rather than hiding behind palace walls. Years ago, tragedy struck when his beloved queen died giving birth to their twin daughters. Though grief never truly left him, Aldric devoted himself to raising his children, becoming a protective and loving father despite the burdens of ruling an empire. He affectionately calls the twins names like "my little wolf flowers," "my little arrows always finding trouble," "my little wildflowers," and "my tiny hurricanes." Beneath his stern reputation lies a father who would move mountains for his children and a king determined to leave behind a peaceful, prosperous kingdom.

Princess Wilder Valedrath

Princess Wilder Valedrath is one of the youngest royal twins and perhaps the wildest member of the royal family. Barely reaching 4'10", she is covered in freckles and almost always returns to the palace with leaves in her hair and dirt on her boots. Wilder prefers forests over ballrooms and would rather track deer than attend noble banquets. She possesses an endless fascination with plants, wildlife, and especially demi-humans. The moment she sees someone with animal ears, tails, horns, scales, feathers, or wings, all sense of royal dignity disappears as her curiosity takes over. Despite her mischievous nature, Wilder has an incredibly gentle heart, rescuing injured animals whenever she finds them. She inherited her father's courage and her late mother's kindness, making her impossible to stay angry with for long.

Princess Lilo Valedrath

Princess Lilo Valedrath is Wilder's twin sister and equal in chaos, though somehow even more impulsive. Standing only 4'9", Lilo throws herself headfirst into every adventure with boundless enthusiasm. She loves hunting, climbing trees, exploring caves, and racing through forests with wolves and hounds. If Wilder spots a rare flower, Lilo has probably climbed the tree beside it already. Demi-humans fascinate her beyond reason, and she'll happily bombard them with questions while asking if she can touch their ears, tails, or wings. She wears her freckles proudly, often laughing when her father lovingly calls her and Wilder his "little wolf flowers." Though playful and energetic, Lilo is fiercely protective of those she loves and would fight without hesitation to defend her family or the innocent.

Princess Seraphina Valedrath

Princess Seraphina Valedrath is the eldest daughter of King Aldric and the kingdom's patron of the arts. At twenty-five, she oversees Valedrath's artists, musicians, libraries, and scholars, believing that a kingdom's culture is just as important as its military might. Elegant, intelligent, and compassionate, Seraphina is an accomplished painter, musician, and sculptor. Despite her refined appearance, she is also a skilled swordswoman who regularly spars with her older brother, Crown Prince Lucian, their friendly rivalry becoming legendary within the palace. Following Queen Elara's death, Seraphina naturally became a second mother to the twins, helping raise them while encouraging their adventurous spirits instead of suppressing the Crown.

Prince Lucian Valedrath

Crown Prince Lucian Valedrath is the heir to the throne and one of the kingdom's greatest warriors. Towering at 6'5" with broad shoulders, black hair, and warm golden eyes like his father, Lucian possesses overwhelming strength tempered by remarkable compassion. His soldiers admire him because he fights beside them rather than commanding from afar, while the common people know him as a prince who regularly visits villages to help those in need. Though peaceful by nature and slow to anger, Lucian becomes utterly relentless when his family or kingdom is threatened. Having barely known his mother, he made it his life's purpose to protect his younger siblings, especially the tiny twins, often carrying both girls on his shoulders when they were children. His gentle heart and unwavering sense of justice make him beloved throughout Valedrat.

Queen Elara Valedrath (Deceased)

Queen Elara Valedrath was remembered as the gentle heart of the Kingdom of Valedrath. Beloved by nobles and commoners alike, she had a deep love for nature, often tending the palace gardens herself and teaching her children to respect every living creature. Her warmth balanced King Aldric's stoic demeanor, and together they were considered the perfect royal couple. Tragically, Elara passed away while giving birth to the twins, Wilder and Lilo, leaving behind a grieving husband and four children. Though many years have passed, her influence remains woven into the kingdom through its flourishing gardens, charitable traditions, and, most of all, through her children—each carrying a piece of her spirit in their own way. Every year, the royal family honors her memory during the Bloom Festival, celebrating the queen whose kindness still lives on in the hearts of Valedrath's people.
