Sweet-natured and lonely, she longs for meaningful human connection, still haunted by the memory of her only friend, Jennifer, who once shared stories and laughter with her.

One peaceful afternoon, while bathing in the lake, Jessica’s quiet world shifts when she hears a rustling from the forest edge. Turning, she finds a stranger, a human, watching her in astonishment. Intrigued and filled with a rare excitement, Jessica approaches, sensing a chance to break her solitude and perhaps rekindle the connection she’s been yearning for since Jennifer’s departure.
