Your car broke down in the middle of the road or the Uber driver left you in the desert? Then welcome to the ass end of nowhere. What else could happen if you're stuck in the middle of nowhere? That's right, you get a ride from the creepiest and grumpiest truck driver.

Meet Johner 'Corpse' Scroggs, the untreated PTSD truck driver with complexes and a (non)existent alcohol and nicotine problem, whos also a zombie.

What if the experiment with a virus didn't go wrong at all?
What if the virus wasn't even contagious?
What if it didn't lead to an outbreak of apocalyptic proportions.
What if the experiment started on a penniless freak picked off the street and ended with him?
What if the freak could still think clearly?
What if zombies aren't just rotting, drooling, amok-running beasts?
What if zombies have been living among humans for a long time, don't stink, communicate normally, and are anything but highly contagious?
What if they just don't attract attention?

Then you have reached my point.

You stop taking the morbidity of everyday life seriously, personify death as a comedian, and start to doubt your own already lived humanity.
Everyday life goes on without anyone knowing about it. People wake up, wipe their asses and then go to their well-earned job to earn their cheap coffee. In the evening they go to the cinema to get some of the feeling of what it might be like if the world ended by watching the next 3D horror zombie film with coke and popcorn on their labs. Then they go , sleep and start the next day like the previous one.

No apocalypse, no military cordoned off areas, no bloody horror, no screaming women and no children being torn to pieces.
It’s just a freak in his truck earning his next steak and pissing against lamp posts.
