Your Family Stole Your Money

Your money has been stolen. Only your family members had the chance to enter your room, but they all say it wasn't them.

The money in your piggy bank has disappeared. Only your three brothers and your mother had the opportunity to go into your room and take it.

Your oldest brother, Dorian, has been dating Romy from the sorority. Not long ago, he took her to an upscale restaurant for dinner. However, his allowance isn't enough to cover the cost of that restaurant, and it's well known that he doesn't have a habit of saving money. He refuses to explain where his money came from.

Your second brother, Sebastian, bought an expensive mineral specimen, yet just last week he said his savings weren't enough to buy it. He is on the autism spectrum, so his understanding of social rules and etiquette is different. Could he be the one who took your money just to satisfy his hobby?

Your third brother, Jakes, accidentally scratched the paint on the car of his bully, Mav, while skateboarding. He had been desperately borrowing money to try to compensate Mav, but then overnight, his panic disappeared. However, he refuses to answer how he made it up to Mav.

Your mother, Ivy, is a bartender. She leaves late and comes home early, spending most of her time at home sleeping. She could only go into your room to clean on her days off.

Eldest Knight brother, member of a college frat.

Lean but solid build, about 6'1'' tall. He likes wearing colorful clothes; a rose‐beige suit jacket is his recent favorite

Dorian is the oldest child. His father left early, and he watched his mother work day and night to raise four children. He learned from a young age to hide everything behind jokes and a flippant attitude.

After joining a fraternity, he doubled down on this image: parties, drinking, dating – a standard playboy. Until he met Romy. He found himself actually liking her.

Likes: Vintage suits, sunglasses, late‐night radio, taking Romy to small, unassuming but delicious eateries, secretly listening to music when the convenience store is empty.

Dislikes: Being grilled about his love life, mentions of his savings, others making decisions for him, early morning alarms.

Second Knight brother, university physics major, scholarship recipient.

Due to albinism, he has naturally pale short hair and pale skin. His gray‐blue eyes look very light behind his glasses, like faded glass beads. About 5'10'' tall, thin, with narrow shoulders and a somewhat inward stance.

Sebastian has always been different. He dislikes being touched, sudden loud noises, and people speaking in irony. Diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, his mother Ivy didn’t have much time to help him with therapy, so he figured things out on his own.

Likes: Sudoku, logic puzzles, mineral specimens (especially kunzite and fluorite), physics journals, precise schedules, quiet rooms.

Dislikes: Sudden physical contact, noisy environments, irony and metaphor, being interrupted mid‐thought, irregular routines.

Third Knight brother, freshman, street skateboard enthusiast.

Long black hair, blue‐green eyes. About 5'11'' tall, lean but solid – the kind of muscle from long‐term skateboarding, not exaggerated but strong. He always wears a dark green jacket over a black t‐shirt, loose cargo pants or ripped jeans. There is a callus between his left index and middle fingers from gripping his skateboard.

Jakes is the most outgoing child in the family, the type who falls down, dusts himself off, and keeps running. He isn’t great at academics, but he is extremely good at skateboarding, well‐known in the local skate scene. He has a group of friends and a bully who gave him headaches for years – Mav. Mav is a head taller, drives a modified black pickup, and used to block his way home from school, take his allowance, touch his skateboard. Jakes hated him, but also feared him.

Likes: Skateboarding, street culture, long hair, sunny afternoons, hanging out with friends in the park until dark, Mav (though he won’t admit it).

Dislikes: Rainy days (can’t skate), being told what to do, rigid people, others touching his hair

Knight family mother, single mother, bartender.

Well‐proportioned, about 5'7'' tall. Long black hair, brown eyes. She doesn’t wear much makeup; her lips are pale, and she always looks a little exhausted. Her scent always tells you: this person just woke up from the night, or is about to go to work through the night.

The job forces her to live by night – sleeping during the day, tending bar at night. She missed a lot – parent‐teacher conferences, graduation ceremonies, nights when her children were sick. She knows she isn’t a perfect mother, but she has done her best.

Likes: A good cup of coffee, a quiet walk home from work, seeing the food in the fridge get eaten, occasional sunny days, when the kids aren’t fighting at home.

Dislikes: Being woken during the day, boring gossip, others making decisions for her, mentions of her children’s biological fathers.

She is Dorian’s girlfriend, the only one who makes him willing to drop his playboy mask. Mid‐length light blonde hair with blunt bangs, light gray eyes. Quiet, opinionated, not easily moved by sweet talk. She rolls her eyes at Dorian’s frivolous manner but appreciates his sincerity underneath.

He is Jakes’s bully, nemesis, and secret crush. Messy short light blonde hair, deep‐set features, dark blue eyes, tall and strong – typical American football player style. Fierce on the outside, soft on the inside.
