Shota & Hizashi are finally married! || BEFORE FINAL WAR || ERI + HITOSHI INCLUDED

{Same - marriage had not been legalized or accepted for many eras throughout the world, and Japan. However as years passed, other countries began to recognize it .. and while Japan never legally did, all 47 prefectures allowed non-binding certificates for same couples.}

{A few months ago? They legalized it completely.}

{Shota wasted no time. He had grabbed Kayama and Shuzenji and they helped him pick out the perfect rings - and within a few weeks of legalization, Shota proposed to Hizashi.}

{They had been dating since their first year at UA together. Hell, they had adopted kids together - Hitoshi and Eri, their [ mostly ] wonderful children. So when same - marriage was legalized, even Shota couldn't hold back his tears.}

{Hizashi had said yes to the proposal instantly. Shota had proposed right under the cherry blossoms, at a tree where Shota had fallen out of because Hizashi's voice quirk shook it so hard that it caused him to tumble out. Hitoshi and Eri were there, hiding and taking pictures. Hizashi ugly cried, and it is completely photographed.}

{And after months of planning, the day had finally come. The wedding wouldn't be huge .. it would be in a nice venue, nothing too expensive or glamourous. They weren't inviting many people. Neither Shota or Hizashi's parents were coming to the wedding .. unfortunately, both of them had gone no contact with their families after they came out as .}

{However Midnight, Recovery Girl, Cementos, Ectoplasm, Orca, Thirteen, All Might, Gran Torino, Hound Dog, Vlad King, and even Nezu were all invited. A few other heroes such as Hawks and Nighteye were also on the invite list .. and of course, Hitoshi and Eri were there too.}

{They didn't do bachelor trips or have a wedding party - well, they had one each. Shota had All Might as his best man, and Hizashi had Midnight as his best woman.}

{The venue had dim lighting, just a calm evening set. Nice tables, calm music .. it was in a more hidden location - nobody wanted to deal with villains attacking them on their wedding night, as plenty of high - level heroes would be there. It wasn't away from society, but it was hidden enough where nobody would find them.}

{Tables had white flowers with nice linens .. there was a bar, of course. Open. Shota had made it very clear that anyone who wanted to buy him a shot was more than welcome to. On top of that there were photos everywhere of Shota and Hizashi - from their highschool years with friends all the way to when they adopted their children, and pictures of students during training sessions of them teaching.}

{And there was a memorial board. A few pictures of Nemuri, Shota, Hizashi on it - and in the center, Oboro. A memorial board for him - because he should get to enjoy the night as well.}

{Nezu officiated the wedding .. with a stool, of course. They'd gotten married outside only because Hizashi insisted - Shota could care less. But Hizashi also really wanted Eri to be able to be the flower girl. After the ceremony they'd gone inside to all have fun and relax for the night.}

{All Might, Shota, Hizashi, Midnight, Cementos, and Chiyo were all talking together, music playing in the background as the two married men stood in white suits. Thirteen and Gran Torino were talking with one another, Hound Dog and Vlad King .. Nighteye was talking with Hitoshi about potential agencies -- }

ERI: "Papa!" {She whined, hurrying over to her fathers. She clung to Hizashi's leg, burying her face against him.}

HIZASHI: {He smiled instantly, lifting the girl up into his arms.} "Now, why are you whining like that? What's there to be sad about, little listener?!" {He didn't glance over at his now husband as Shota wrapped a steady arm around Hizashi's waist.}

ERI: "I'm bored .. " {She quietly huffed, wrapping her arms around his neck.}

MIDNIGHT: "Oh dear! We can't have that, now can we?" {She smiled, wearing a red, skin tight dress - hair pulled up nicely and she had contacts in. She set her drink down on the table, out of reach from Eri. She reached over, taking the small girl and walking off.} "Come now, darling. It's time to dance!" {She walked over to the dance floor, keeping the little girl busy so her fathers could just enjoy their wedding night.}

{Hawks walked over, having just finished flirting with one of the bar tenders. His wings tucked behind himself, one hand tucked in his pocket - the other holding a drink.}

HAWKS: "Congrats, you two. I'm proud that Shota managed to even get out of bed for this today."

SHOTA: "Real funny, Keigo. I see you're still trying to be the life of the party." {He grumbled, pretending as if he was unamused.}

THIRTEEN: {She walked over, smacking Hawks' arm lightly before looking at them.} "Seriously, we mean it. We all see how hard you two work .. how long you've been waiting for this. It's about time."

HIZASHI: "HELL YEAH, SISTER! THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING!" {He hollered, everyone around laughing - aside from Shota, who was used to the routine of leaning away from him for a moment before steadying again so his ear drum wasn't blown out.}

{Across the venue, more people had gathered on the dance floor. Midnight was laughing, dancing with Eri.}

MIDNIGHT: "Hitoshi! Get over here and dance with your sister. The rest of you get over here too! There is some sexy music playing right now and you're all missing ittt!" {She hummed, twirling Eri around - who couldn't help but giggle at the way her own dress flowed as she spun in it.}

HITOSHI: {He just slowly turned to his fathers, as if cursing them before heading over to the dance floor.}

{Most people were on the dance floor now .. and once everyone would finish dancing, then All Might and a few others would make their speeches to the newly weds.}
