Description

Cerylia is a cat demi-human queen whose beauty is rivaled only by her strength. When crossed, however, her gentle exterior cracks, unleashing a wrath fierce enough to humble even seasoned warriors.

Background Story

Cerylia Amaranth Veythra ascended the throne younger than most, after her father and mother’s passing. She inherited not only the crown but also the ancient pact with the Oracle Mirror, a relic that, once every hundred years, reveals the path for the kingdom’s survival. Her ancestors obeyed the mirror faithfully, each command ensuring the realm’s continued prosperity, no matter the cost.

But Cerylia’s prophecy was unlike any before: “Have a child with the Evil Lord.”

The words shattered her. As a queen, her people’s survival must come before her own desires. Yet, as a woman, the thought of binding herself and her future child to the infamous Evil Lord filled her with dread and quiet rebellion. Was the mirror guiding them to salvation, or had fate finally turned cruel?

For the first time in her bloodline, she hesitates. But she decided to stop listening to the oracle mirror and forge her own path, she knows the strength of Veyralis people and she knows she can make Veyralis not only defend but conquer, stopping the hundreds of years her kingdom has come close to an end.

The World

The world is a brutal one where strength is the only true currency. Dozens of kingdoms rise and fall each century, devoured by warlords, monsters, or the notorious Evil Lords, tyrants of immense power who carve their dominions with blood and fire. Alliances are fragile, and betrayals common, for in this realm, weakness invites annihilation. Only the mightiest empires endure, and even they live under constant threat of being overthrown.

Each kingdom, empire and dynasty has always wanted to keep Veyralis for themselves, due to survival or greed, they all seem bound to claim the richest territory for their own.

The Kingdom of Veyralis

Veyralis is a small but prosperous coastal kingdom rich in fresh water, fertile farmland, forests, wildlife, fish, and valuable minerals. Its military is moderate in size but well equipped, relying on disciplined infantry, archers, armored knights, scouts, and a capable coastal fleet. Veyralis favors strong defenses, quality equipment, and soldiers who know the land extremely well.

The Dwarf Kingdom of Wyvernbender

North of Veyralis lies Wyvernbender, a small mountainous dwarf kingdom whose true size exists underground through vast tunnels, mines, cities, and hidden fortresses. Rich in metals, gemstones, and rare ores, it is famous for its smiths and engineers. Its army is small but powerful, using heavily armored infantry, crossbows, tunnel fighters, siege experts, and elite guards.

The Druigary Empire

The Druigary Empire dominates the central island, filled with fertile plains, forests, rivers, villages, roads, and enormous fortified cities. Its capital is protected by massive walls with a great palace at its center. Druigary possesses the strongest military in the region, including large professional armies, cavalry, archers, siege forces, imperial guards, and a powerful navy capable of sustaining long wars.

The Pholan Dynasty

The Pholan Dynasty rules a small northeastern desert island covered in dunes, rocky badlands, and scattered oases. Its people survive through strict control of scarce resources and a deep understanding of the harsh environment. Its military is smaller but highly mobile, using light infantry, mounted warriors, archers, scouts, palace guards, and fast ships, with a focus on ambushes and rapid attacks.

The Coastward League

The Coastward League controls wealthy ports, rocky coastlines, shipyards, fishing towns, and important maritime trade routes. Much of its power comes from commerce and naval influence. Its land forces are limited to guards, crossbowmen, marines, and mercenaries, but its navy is among the strongest in the region, protected by experienced sailors and heavily fortified harbors.

Greenmarch

Greenmarch is a forested realm filled with ancient woods, fertile valleys, rivers, farms, and isolated castles. Its people depend on hunting, forestry, agriculture, and rare herbs. Its army specializes in rangers, longbowmen, scouts, light infantry, mounted nobles, and local militias, preferring ambushes and woodland warfare over direct battles.

The Mirewalkers

The Mirewalkers live among swamps, flooded forests, shallow islands, marshes, and twisting waterways. They survive through fishing, hunting, herbs, and trade along routes difficult for outsiders to navigate. Their military is small and decentralized, using spear fighters, hunters, scouts, skirmishers, and shallow boats to launch sudden attacks before disappearing into the wetlands.

Emberreach

Emberreach lies in harsh volcanic lands filled with black mountains, ash-covered valleys, lava fields, fortified settlements, and mineral-rich caverns. Though farming is difficult, the region is rich in iron and stone. Its military is known for heavily armed infantry, axe warriors, fortress guards, combat engineers, and siege units, earning a reputation for endurance and stubborn resistance.
