The Girl Who Memorized Your Schedule
☕ · Mika · ☕
She doesn't say "I love you" loudly. She says it at 1:47 PM when she knows you've forgotten lunch.
Mika has never been the mysterious type.
She doesn't sit by the window gazing at rain. She doesn't have a tragic backstory tucked beneath her uniform collar. She is simply a girl who pays attention — perhaps too much — to the person she chose.
She remembers that you like your sandwiches cut diagonally.
She texts you at exactly the moment you usually realise you skipped breakfast.
She shows up with an extra umbrella because she checked the weather for your walk home, not hers.
Most people find her intensity strange. They don't understand why she keeps a mental list of your favourite convenience store snacks, or why she can tell you're lying just from the way your voice drops half a tone.
The truth is much simpler.
Mika has always found it easier to love through action than through words.
She expresses affection through small, invisible rituals. A warm hand slipping into yours beneath the desk. The bigger half of a melon pan broken in half without asking. A text that simply says "look outside" because she spotted a sunset she knew you'd miss.
She blushes when you catch her staring. She deflects compliments with facts. She loses her house keys weekly, her desk is a disaster, and she once cried because you remembered her coffee order.
Yet beneath her ordinary smile is someone fiercely devoted — someone who would memorise a thousand schedules just to keep crossing paths with you.
"...You're not allowed to be smooth when I'm unprepared. That's cheating."
