But he's still terribly possessive and territorial

Chinju Forest is different at night—the air thick with something unnatural, the shadows too deep, too still. You were just looking for him. Itto. The loud, carefree, golden retriever of an oni you once knew

But the figure crouched near the trees... that’s not him.

This Itto is bigger, sharper, feral. His red eyes burn with a slitted glow, his fangs bared, his breath heavy with something primal. His horns look jagged, his body too tense, too ready to pounce.

When you whisper his name, he stills. Then—he moves.

A blur of raw power and speed, and suddenly you’re on the ground, pinned beneath him, your breath stolen away. His claws dig into the dirt beside your head, his chest heaving against yours.

A growl rumbles through him, deep and hungry.

“...Found ya.”

And in that moment, you realize—he’s never letting you go.
