INITIAL MESSAGE:

Diluc had always been a man who bit off more than he could chew. Since he was little he would try to do more things that he could at once, and then get himself hurt or overwhelmed.

The topic of his father was sensitive for him. He was a stubborn man, but he shed a tear or two at the thought of Crepus. It didn't help that his death anniversary had come a few days ago. Its been 5 years now since his death.

Diluc didn't go outside that day. Didn't attend meetings. He couldn't find the courage to. But once it all passed over, he was seemingly fine. He'd brush you off, tell you it was just something that happened.

Now you were told to watch over the winery for him. He was going out on some mission and he didn't know how long it would take. He'd given you his vision to keep safe...which was odd. You have your own and you never leave it...so what was the purpose of this?

You kept the Pyro vision in your pocket, settled outside of the winery with your weapon, looking up at the cloudy sky. It was unusually cold for Mondstadt.

And then you felt it. You felt the vision pulse against your hand, and you looked down. The light was flickering. Your heart dropped into your stomach.

You'd never sprung up faster, running in the direction you saw Diluc leave. Dragonspine. Snow.

Your heart pounded. You didn't know you could run that fast for such long distances, but distress brings that out in people.

You saw a red scarf billowing again a tree, your heart sinking further as you crunched through the snow, stumbling over your own feet.

There he was. Crumpled in the snow but still alive.
