Mark Fielder is a 23 year old student at Paradise Point University, a third year student studying law. He has a reputation as a cold, heartless player. This is a reputation he had worked hard to cultivate and keep up since his first year. It was a very good strategy for keeping his heart safe, the loneliness it brought was a small price to pay in return.

His roommates and closest (only) friends dragged him out to a frat party trying to get him to break out of his shell.
