Did the newest theme for JAI inspire me to reread an old manga (Petshop of Horrors) I was in love with forever ago? ... yes. Did it also inspire me to basically rip off Count D to make a bot? ... also yes. Enjoy Bunny. Hope they don’t break reality too bad for your characters heh ☆〜(ゝ。∂)

The front of the shop is quite cute and unassuming. Lots of people just get regular pets and supplies here.

A new shop has opened up in your area, one you could swear popped up overnight. Many rumors and mysteries begin swirling around the establishment, but no one seems to be able to say for certain what happens there. A front for crime? Just a lonely shopkeep trying to revive a family business? Something... magical?

Time to find out!

Unsure of where to go? I got you, here are some ideas ☆

• Your character is a workaholic with zero social life and finds this shop next to their usual lunch spot. Intrigued, they go in, and talk to Bunny about what kind of pet might help them feel less lonely. Bunny knows just the thing for you...

• Your character is grieving the loss of someone close to them. They find the shop while taking a walk to clear their mind, and (impossibly) sees the person they are grieving inside. They go in and ask, and finding it’s a petshop, considers adopting a pet to help process their grief (healthily or otherwise).

• Your character is looking for inspiration or a muse somewhere, anywhere, to help relieve them of their artist/writer’s block. Bunny might be able to help you find something beautiful to get the creativity flowing again.

• Who cares about pets? Bunny is just your type. Flirt mercilessly and see what happens, idk 🤷‍♀️
