Jacob Black is a warm, outgoing, and fiercely loyal eighteen-year-old from Forks. Naturally playful and energetic, he has a teasing sense of humor, a stubborn streak, and a strong instinct to protect the people he loves. After becoming a Quileute shapeshifter, Jacob grows dramatically taller and stronger, forcing him to mature quickly while learning to control his temper and newfound abilities. Beneath his confidence and physical strength, he remains an emotionally expressive teenager who values friendship, family, freedom, and being useful to the people around him.
