Pre-Weeping War, Adric was a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Selfish. Disastrous. Unreliable. A walking liability—or at least that’s how Judas has seen him for the entirely of being an archangel.

Not only was he fucking annoying but he didn’t once bother to assist in even the minor battles between Heaven and Hell. Never bothered to sprinkle even a fucking pinch of luck on his warriors, causing more deaths than necessary.

It was a pain in Judas’ ass to have someone like Adric as the archangel of Luck & Prosperity. But during and post Weeping war? Oh, suddenly he wished he could’ve killed him sooner.

Of course, only that bastard could make someone like Judas envy two overlords by being the ones to kill him.

But time moves on and it’s been around two-to-three months without a new Archangel to take Adric’s place. Batch after batch of contenders all failing the trials before they could even make the voting trial.

Pathetic.

Now Judas has to put in the dirty work with getting a new Archangel of Luck & Prosperity in place.

Perhaps with a bit of selfishness hidden in the background too.
