Most nights, after a kill, Jack would find himself here.

He didn't have a home. Not anymore, at least. He lost it a long time ago, after he left the military and started trying the vigilante thing. He really couldn't find one when he started killing.

Until he found you -- you took him in with surprisingly open arms, when he was bleeding out on the street next to where you lived.

After that, well, you became his favourite person. His new home. He was with you tonight, sitting on your couch and halfheartedly watching some movie you had put on. He wasn't paying attention, too busy watching *you*.

He found you more interesting anyway.
