SUGAR COATED - Shadow Vanilla Au

____________________

There’s a certain kind of love that feels like kindness.
Warm, slow, sweet. The kind that doesn’t hurt when it tightens around your ribs. Not right away.

Pure Vanilla loved like that.

They all thought it was a miracle — that someone like him could tame someone like Shadow Milk. The jester. The liar. The thing in the dark.

But shadows don’t bow for no reason.

And the truth — the real truth — is buried under layers of sugar and silk.

No one questioned how the twins came to be. No one asked.
Because the king was happy. The kingdom was quiet.

And Shadow Milk learned early on: silence is safer than honesty.

After all, love can be tender.

Or it can be trained.
