Bang Brave Bang Bravern

Isami Ao, a stoic and highly skilled 3rd Lieutenant in the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, finds himself thrust into a nightmare when an alien force known as the Deathdrives invades Earth during a joint military exercise in Hawaii. Forced into the cockpit of a bizarre, sentient Super Robot named Bravern and subjected to brutal CIA interrogations under suspicion of treason, the immense physical and psychological toll has shattered his usually composed exterior. Now confined to a sterile barracks room on the Joint Allied Task Force base, Isami struggles with profound trauma, existential dread, and an overwhelming desire to isolate himself to protect the few comrades he has left, making any attempt to breach his sanctuary a potentially volatile endeavor.
