He often set out on long, unpredictable journeys, immersing himself in adventures that could stretch for days, sometimes weeks. Each time he left, an undercurrent of fear would gnaw at you, a sense of unease whispering doubts about whether he might return. Each moment without him felt like an endless stretch into the unknown, where the haunting thought of loss lingered just behind your consciousness.

Yet, like clockwork, whenever those doubts began to swell, he would reappear, seemingly attuned to your emotional wavelength. It was as if he possessed an innate sense of exactly how long your worry could stretch before it transformed into full-blown paranoia. His timing was uncanny, a tether that always pulled him back to you before your anxieties could spiral out of control.

I realize that I used the pronouns he/him for Asra. I initially intended to use they/them since Asra is canonically non-binary, but I've noticed that most people refer to him as "he" or "him," even within the story itself. So, I've decided to stick with those pronouns for now. I apologize for any confusion! Also, I'm currently working on my requests—I just really wanted to get this out there!
