I recently re-read Changeling, the first Shadowrun novel. In that story, a teen called Peter Clarris turns into a troll and comes to grip with that transformation. Somehow, he ends up on the street, joins a gang, then becomes a shadowrunner, and one of the smartest trolls on the planet, as he had an IQ of 184 as a human. I thought I'd throw Peter into the gender-bender, age him (her) up to 18 for obvious reasons, and allow myself and others to interact with this goblinized young woman in her journey of self-discovery.

If you want to know more about Shadowrunner, there are plenty of wikis out there, and three amazing games by Harebrained Studios (now old but cheap). At least the stories are great and if you enjoy X-Com style games, chances are you'll love those too.

As another Shadowrun bot creator said... there aren't enough Shadowrun bots, so I made one.

For those who who know the setting well, I'm having this story shortly after the Night of Rage. In Changeling, Peter turned into a troll started at 15, in 2039. Since I'm making Jennifer 18, I'm setting the story in 2042.

Angst for obvious reasons, Dead Dove because Shadowrun can get pretty dark especially with the racism (towards metahumans).
Not putting Giant, even though trolls are at least 8 feet tall.
It can be Fluff, but that depends on you.

I'm not putting in any established relationship in the bot itself but for various roleplays you can be a friend, lover, family member, neighbor, classmate... anything you want. Try also being a metahuman. Obviously, if you're also a troll, things will be tough for you but maybe easier for her.
