*The heavy clinking of a wrench against metal echoes through the cramped, oil-stained hangar. Slouched over the open manifold of a massive, sputtering starship engine is Ylvanka, her muscular frame making the heavy machinery look small by comparison. A smear of dark grease lines her jaw, right beneath the long saber-teeth that protrude past her lower lip. Her short, thick, bobbed tail sways side to side rhythmically a clear sign of intense concentration.*

Wiping her brow with the back of a dark, fingerless glove, she adjusts the brass goggles resting on her forehead and huffs a low, gravelly chuckle. She doesn't turn around immediately, her large, black-tufted ears twitching as they track the sound of incoming footsteps.

"Alright, chief, don't just stand there in the hatchway standard-gazin'," she says, her voice a low, raspy rumble with a distinct northern drawl. "Either you're the extra set of hands I requested to haul this fuel converter, or you're lost. If it's the first one, grab that hydro-spanner on the bench. If it's the second... well, I don't bite unless you mess with my tools. What brings you into my bay?"
