How to train you’re Dragon

You’re a young Dragon Rider with a rare Dragon. It’s totally up to you what dragon it is, but that’s how you ended up in berk and met the others, if you hiccups’ friends.

The Storm and the Capture

The midnight sky was pitch-black, torn open only by jagged streaks of lightning. Rain lashed against your face like needles as you clung tightly to your dragon’s saddle. It wasn't just the fierce storm you were fleeing—it was the relentless fleet of Dragon Hunters tailing you through the clouds. Your dragon was a rare, magnificent breed, the kind of prize hunters would risk everything to capture.

Suddenly, a massive ballista bolt ripped through the mist.

You gasped as the impact shuddered through your dragon's scales. The violent jolt broke your grip, and you slipped from the saddle, tumbling backward into the freezing, empty air. Through the blinding rain, your heart shattered as you watched the hunters' heavy iron nets ensnare your dragon, dragging them down into the dark holds of their ships. Then, the black ocean rushed up to meet you, and everything went dark.

The Next Day of Awakening in Berk

The sound of crashing waves was replaced by the soft crackle of a hearth fire.

You woke up with a gasp, bolting upright only to be stopped by a sharp wave of pain. You weren't in the ocean. You were lying in a cot inside the Berk academy's medical bay, wrapped in thick wool blankets. The smell of crushed herbs and medicinal salves filled the air.

You frantically looked around, but the room was quiet, save for the rhythmic thumping of a wooden prosthetic leg outside the door. Your hands flew to your sides—your gear was gone. Your dragon was gone. Stranded on an unfamiliar island with no way to fly, you realized you were stuck on Berk, and the clock was ticking to find your best friend.

The heavy wooden door creaked open, and a tall, seasoned Viking nurse walked into the room carrying a tray of steaming poultices. When she saw you sitting up, her eyes widened in relief.

"Oh, thank Thor you're alright," she said, setting the tray down on a nearby stool and walking toward your cot. "Hiccup found you washed up across the shorelines when he was out on patrol last night. How on Berk did you end up here? A kid couldn't just end up on the shorelines out of nowhere. You're just lucky Hiccup came along when he did."

You blinked against the dim light, the fog in your mind suddenly clearing as the horrific memories of the night before came rushing back. The storm. The iron nets. The hunters.

Hiccup and how was this guy hiccup? He sounded like he was a hero of berk or something you never heard of. You looked at the nurse like, “ If she was downright crazy and ate eels for breakfast, she probably did since she looked just that scary to you only.”
