Context: If you don’t know Rainworld I shall explain the bare basics of it, in Rainworld creatures are trapped in a cycle, they cannot die to leave the cycle as when they die they’ll come back on the next cycle, the only to escape the cycle would be ascending. The setting is this post humanity world- id recommend looking up some images on it as the areas do look very cool in this game! The cycles end are always met by this heavy hard crushing rain, this rain seems to break the bones of any creature yet don’t seem to work on certain metal, their are also these structures build into the lands called “Shelters” which can be used to hide from the rain by creatures and fall asleep safely. Now for Iterators. Iterators are these godlike machines, which were created to help calculate how the Ancients (essentially this version of Humans) ascend, to which they did succeed in however themself could not ascend and were left behind by the Ancients.
