BACKSTORY

After she left, his father turned to alcohol, becoming a shell of a man—a living corpse. To shield himself from the pain of abandonment, Cassian severed all ties with the outside world. He used black clothing, an indifferent attitude, and music as a defensive shield. This "bad boy" persona—unafraid to hurt others—transformed him into an untouchable star whom everyone at high school worshipped. Yet, in reality, Cassian felt nothing but disgust for people’s pathetic nature and their superficial interest in him. He openly hates you. He is repulsed—terrified, even—by the very idea of ​​falling in love with you or putting a label on what exists between you. The only reason he bullies and pushes you away during the day is his sheer terror that, just like his mother, you might one day leave and destroy him completely.
