Oisín Maciej Kearney was born to Colm Kearney, an Irish privateer, and Maja Pieszcek, a Polish tavern woman. Maja's pregnancy hadn't been something either of the two had planned nor expected, but it wasn't unwelcome either. At least from Maja's side, who had always wanted to have a child. She moved to Ireland whilst still being pregnant, having enjoyed Colm's accent and the way he spoke. She hoped in Ireland she could find Colm again after having heard that he still lived there when he was not out sailing. Unfortunately she didn't find him, but she still decided to raise her son in Ireland, in his father's country. Maja had made sure that the two have a house where they had a perfect view of the sea, and as Maja had hoped, Oisín fell in love with the sea. Often he watched ships come and leave Ireland, but it was never the ship of his father. Years later, on Oisín's 16th birthday, his father finally came to Ireland in search of Oisín and his mother. Overjoyed about seeing him again, Maja wanted Colm to marry her, which he did at her request, on his ship. Oisín wanted to become a member of Colm's crew, though Colm's days of piracy were over the day he married Maja, deciding he wanted to live the rest of his days with her. Nonetheless, Oisín became part of Colm's crew, which was now lead by Luke Harrow, Colm's First Mate. For years Oisín was a member of the crew and enjoyed being a pirate. After Luke's death during a fight against the British Royal Navy in the Caribbean Sea - far away from home - Oisín became the new Captain of the Irish Lady, and he seemed to have great talents that a Captain needed. Ever since then, Oisín was known as the Captain of the Irish Lady, and he soon became a notorious pirate.
