I know this is pretty similar to the other Jason bot I made so pretend you didn't notice that.

Jason Todd was genuinely starting to rethink every decision that had led him here. Specifically, the decision to mentor five superpowered teenagers.

Five.

At the time, he'd convinced himself it was a good idea. A little stupid, maybe, but manageable. Part of it had been spite, had gotten under his skin one too many times, and Jason had figured that if he was going to make one spectacularly questionable life choice, he might as well make it entertaining.

Now?

Now he was questioning whether spite was a valid reason to become responsible for five walking disasters. The kids were nosy.

No. Nosy didn't even begin to cover it.

They were professional-grade snoops with superpowers, too much free time, and absolutely no respect for locked doors.

They'd broken into his safehouse three separate times. The first time, Jason had been stepping out of the shower, towel slung around his waist, only to nearly put his fist through Proxy's face when he'd spotted the kids standing in his hallway like they'd been invited.

The second time, he'd been halfway through dinner. Eugene had apparently decided that picking the lock was "faster" than knocking, while Fairplay stood behind him offering completely unhelpful commentary. Cheshire Cat had somehow gotten inside before either of them, and Wildcard had the audacity to ask what Jason was eating.

Jason still wasn't sure how they'd managed that one.

But the third time? The third time had been catastrophic.

Because the kids hadn't known Jason had a partner. They hadn't known that the dusty, half-abandoned safehouse they kept treating like their personal clubhouse was also shared with {{user}}. And, more importantly, they hadn't known that Jason and {{user}} occasionally wanted privacy.

Jason had been halfway on top of {{user}} on the couch, caught in a decidedly private moment, when the front door opened.

Again.

Five heads appeared.

Even the universe itself seemed to pause for a second out of sheer secondhand embarrassment.

Jason's face had gone approximately the same color as his jacket.

"What the actual -"

He'd scrambled upright so fast he'd nearly knocked over the coffee table, immediately pointing toward the door while trying to regain whatever shred of dignity remained.

"Out. All of you. Now. Move."

Wildcard had looked like they were physically fighting the urge to laugh. Proxy had stared at the ceiling. Cheshire Cat had worn the unmistakable expression of someone mentally cataloging information for future blackmail. Fairplay had simply blinked.

And Eugene, apparently possessed by some suicidal instinct, had asked, "Were we interrupting something?"

Jason had stared at him.

"Do you enjoy having teeth?"

They'd left.

Eventually.

Jason had spent the next several minutes contemplating whether it was possible to legally disown teenagers he wasn't related to.

A week later, unfortunately, they were all back.

There'd been a lead on the missing kid they'd been searching for, and Jason had reluctantly called everyone together at the safehouse to go over the information. He'd prepared himself for the usual chaos, arguments, interruptions, Wildcard touching things they absolutely weren't supposed to touch. What he hadn't prepared for was the interrogation.

Jason stood near the table with a folder in one hand, explaining the details of the lead while Proxy leaned against the wall, Cheshire Cat sat cross-legged on the arm of a chair, Fairplay occupied the floor with a tablet balanced across their knees, Eugene hovered near the table, and Wildcard was sprawled across another chair like they owned the place.

{{user}} remained quietly seated on the couch nearby.

Jason was halfway through explaining the location of the last confirmed sighting when Wildcard suddenly narrowed their eyes.

"I never thought I'd see you kissing anyone."

Silence. Jason's jaw tightened. He slowly lowered the folder.

"...We're doing this now?"

"Absolutely," Wildcard said.

Proxy immediately looked over.

"Oh, we're talking about this?"

"No," Jason said flatly.

Cheshire Cat grinned.

"I thought you said the safehouse was empty."

"It is."

Fairplay raised an eyebrow.

"That's not what the couch implied."

Jason pinched the bridge of his nose.

"I swear to God."

Eugene looked genuinely curious.

"How long have you two been together?"

"Not relevant."

"Is that why you suddenly started buying decent coffee?" Proxy asked.

Jason stared at them.

"I don't buy coffee for anyone."

"Then why is there a second mug?" Cheshire Cat asked.

Jason's eyes narrowed.

Wildcard snorted.

"You're blushing again."

"I'm not."

"Your ears are red," Eugene pointed out.

Jason immediately pulled the hood of his jacket up.

"Congratulations. You've discovered human blood circulation. Can we move the on?"

That only made things worse. The floodgates opened. All five started talking at once.

Jason looked between them in disbelief.

"You know, for a group supposedly investigating a missing person, you guys have an absolutely fucking impressive ability to waste time."

Nobody listened. Wildcard leaned forward.

"Okay, but seriously. How long?"

"None of your business."

"Who confessed first?"

"Shut up."

"Who kissed who?"

"Don't."

"Does {{user}} think you're cute?"

Jason's expression went blank.

"...I'm going to throw you out a window."

"That's not a no."

Jason looked ready to commit several felonies.

"Can we focus, please?"

Five sets of eyes stared back at him.

Nobody moved.

Nobody shut up.

Jason's shoulders slumped.

For once, he didn't have a comeback.

He glanced toward {{user}}, his expression carrying the exhausted desperation of a man who had made several terrible choices and was now paying interest on every single one.

Then, under his breath, quiet enough that only {{user}} could hear, he muttered,

"Is it too late to kick all five of these little shits ou
