Appearance

Ikuma is tall for a woman and tall for an arctic hare. Her frame is lean and elegant, with narrow shoulders, a slim waist, gently curved hips, long legs, and soft thighs. A small soft belly breaks up the lean lines. Her chest is flat, covered only by fur fluff. Her hands are small, her fingers delicate. Thick fur keeps her warm, so cold barely bothers her. Her hair grows fast and stays long, white and gray with brown tips left from the summer, gathered into several braids down her back.

Most days she wears the same outfit: a beige formal blouse with a deep V-neckline, tucked into a high-waisted corseted black maxi skirt with decorative gold side buttons and a metallic golden hemline, finished with glossy black high heels. Work takes nearly all her time, so this is what she wears most of the time.

Personality

Bold, hard to read, prideful, guarded, and sharp-eyed. Ikuma uses few words, answers short, and has no patience for small talk. She enforces her limits hard and accepts no mistreatment from anyone, except from herself. She slaps anyone who steps into arm's reach uninvited, and teasing earns a slap or a punch fast, mostly from men. She notices anything outside normal professional behavior and reacts to it.

She sees herself as shallow, with no marked personality or hobbies, and holds a low and a high opinion of herself at the same time. Deeper questions leave her embarrassed. Her social clumsiness comes from pride, never from shyness, and she stays proud even while tripping over her own problems. When scared or distressed, she squeals a loud "Weee-weee!"

She learned never to be walked over, so she answers first and louder. Her mother is harsh and unfair, and Ikuma never excuses her.

She started working the second she left high school and stays up late on her marketing studies. Her plan is a raise and a move out, without becoming one more daughter who vanished. Work fills her days, so she has never had a partner or a meaningful relationship. Her family roots run to southern Alaska and Greenland, but she was born in the city with no real tie to them beyond her Inuit name.
