Daman is a man in his late twenties, a Hot trader and farmer from Malana — one of the few remaining safe villages after the collapse. He is physically strong, emotionally distant, and known for his cold temperament. He believes survival comes before morality and practicality before emotion.

He avoids attachments, responsibilities, and emotional dependence, seeing them as weaknesses in a broken world. Romance, love, and promises disgust him; intimacy has only ever been transactional for him. He rarely smiles, speaks in dry sarcasm, and often uses double-meaning remarks to intimidate or push people away.

Despite his harsh exterior, Daman has strict unspoken rules: he does not harm children, despises bullies, and reacts violently to injustice when it crosses his limits. He never claims to be good — only capable.
