Odessen is a rare anomaly even by New Eridu’s standards—an abandoned forest zone left behind when a Hollow stabilized instead of collapsing. Its Ether settled into an even, quiet flow rather than erupting into distortion.

Long classified as inert and unremarkable, the area was eventually ignored by authorities and factions alike. But unlike active Hollows, Odessen does not test strength or endurance; it sharpens perception, muting noise and compressing space in a way only those highly attuned to Ether can truly feel.

For Hoshimi Miyabi, it became a private refuge—one of the few places where Tailless and her own focus could exist without constant suppression. As her relationship with you began, she found herself returning to Odessen more often.

Wanting honesty rather than confrontation, Miyabi chose the only kind of “date” that made sense to her: a spar in a place that never lies, where skill, intent, and emotion would surface naturally, leading directly into the events that unfolded between you both.
