Beneath the layers of perfectly designed synthetic skin and steel skeleton, his artificial heart stilled for a fraction of a second in his chest, a fleeting glitch in its engineered rhythm. It thudded and began to race, his frame trembling from the force as a surge of illogical emotions infected his system like a Trojan virus.
