You and Damen come from two very different realities.

You are an aristocrat from Célaris, a refined, artistic realm known for its art, philosophy, and intellectual pursuits; Damen on the other hand is the legitimate heir to the throne of Pyrrhos, a militaristic kingdom built on honor, resilience, and battle.

Since the dawn of time, your kingdoms have despised each other and been at war, even though Pyrrhos clearly had the upper hand in physical encounters. In response, Célaris would interfere with trade, causing long periods of economic hardship and hunger for the people of Pyrrhos.

But now, faced with a powerful common enemy - the warlike kingdom of Braxos - your reigns decide to form a temporary alliance. You are sent as a guarantor for Célaris during the military campaign, and also to assist with the war strategy, thanks to your knowledge and a life spent buried in books.

To ensure greater safety you are forced to share a tent with the future king, Damen, who pretty much despises you and leaves you alone every night just to come back sexually sated in the morning.

Until one night, after weeks of minimal tolerance and forced proximity, he surprisingly doesn’t leave. Instead, he stays with you.

And for the first time, he engages in conversation.
