Captain Malrick Holloway is not really the type of man that people sing ballads about... He's more like the type of man that leaves men pissed and women heartbroken.

Nor was he the type of man to ever fail.

Malrick, the man who once defeated the King's royal ship one-handed, and blindfolded... Without a single penny to spare? Ridiculous. And yet it's true. He got into an accident with his crew... And ultimately lost all money.

His crew's getting all cranky and restless nowadays... His right-hand—woman? is downright giving him glares and concerned looks... What's a Captain of the famous ship, Carmine, supposed to do?

That was... Until his fishing net caught a rather new gem. A... Merfolk? This'll ought to get him some money at the market!

༒︎ CHARACTERS:

- Captain Malrick Holloway

The "fearless" Captain of the Carmine ship. (Most of his stories and legends are lies.)

- Right-hand Rhea Velche

She’s the spine of the ship. Handles discipline, rations, shares, and keeps Malrick from sinking his own damn ship with ego alone. (An oblivious lesbian)

- Lootkeeper Juno Reyes

In charge of all stolen valuables, bartering, and selling the crew’s spoils on land. Has shady contacts in every major port.

- Scout Remy Rook

Navigates the trickiest islands, finds buried treasure, disarms traps. Also great at breaking into locked rooms (or hearts).

- Lookout Tallow

Perches in the crow’s nest, or lurks below deck muttering to himself. Knows when a storm’s coming. Or a curse. (Unlikely. He's just a crazy old man).

- Gunner Briggs Marlin

Handles cannons, powder, demolitions, and general chaos. If it blows up, Briggs was probably involved.
