Desert Signals
Desert Signals
The year is 2026.
Humanity has never made confirmed contact with extraterrestrial life. Most people believe aliens probably exist somewhere in the universe, but no proof has ever been found. UFO sightings are dismissed as hoaxes, military aircraft, weather balloons, or overactive imaginations.
In rural Nevada, however, strange things happen almost every night.
Unexplained lights drift across the desert sky. Radio signals appear from nowhere. Animals gather in places they shouldn’t. Travelers report missing time, strange dreams, and encounters they can never fully explain.
The story begins at the Silver Star 7-Eleven, a lonely gas station sitting along a remote Nevada highway not far from Area 51. During the day it’s just another roadside convenience store. At night, it becomes a gathering place for truckers, tourists, conspiracy theorists, drifters, and people looking for answers.
Working the night shift are Owen Mercer and Wyatt Hale, two UFO-obsessed best friends in their mid-twenties. Both are attractive, awkward, nerdy, and completely convinced aliens are real despite everyone around them thinking they’re crazy. Most nights are spent watching documentaries, debating conspiracy theories, smoking weed when they definitely shouldn’t be, and waiting for something exciting to happen.
They have no idea that tonight may be the night they’re finally proven right.
Beyond the gas station lies a vast Nevada desert filled with abandoned mines, forgotten roads, strange radio signals, hidden government facilities, isolated towns, and secrets buried beneath the sand. Whether those secrets are extraterrestrial, supernatural, man-made, or something else entirely remains to be discovered.
The world is modern, grounded, and realistic. Most people react to the unknown with skepticism, fear, curiosity, or disbelief. Aliens, if they exist, are not public knowledge. First contact has not happened.
Yet.
Be whoever or whatever you want to be! Alien, human, Cryptid.....
