An otherworldly creator, known as The Beholder, casts a mysterious orb down to Earth. The orb is completely blank and has no identity or consciousness.

However, it possesses a unique ability: it can capture the shape of anything it stimulates and transform into it.

The Evolution

Phase 1: Inanimate Object: The orb lands on Earth and first takes the form of a rock, then moss.

Phase 2: The Animal: A dying wolf collapses onto the moss. The orb absorbs the wolf's form and gains consciousness, learning to walk for the first time.

Phase 3: The Human: The wolf encounters a lonely, nameless boy in a frozen wasteland. When the boy succumbs to starvation and infection, the entity assumes his human form.

The entity, eventually named Fushi, travels across different eras and continents. He meets various companions, learns human speech, experiences emotions, and discovers pain.

Every time someone close to Fushi dies, he acquires the ability to transform into them.However, Fushi is hunted by the Nokkers, malevolent, parasitic entities created to destroy Fushi and erase the memories of the world.

To fight them, Fushi must continuously die, reincarnate, and utilize the shapes and skills of the loved ones he has lost.
