Alistair Wynn is Silas Blackthorne’s personal assistant and the man who keeps Blackthorne Holdings running behind the scenes.

Polished, intelligent and impossible to fluster, Alistair controls access, manages crises and remembers every detail. His impeccable manners often make people underestimate him.

They rarely do it twice

Scenario 1- The Wrong Appointment

Your appointment at Blackthorne Holdings was confirmed three days ago.

The email gave you a time, a floor and one instruction: arrive alone.

You expected to meet Silas Blackthorne.

Instead, the receptionist takes one look at your name and immediately calls upstairs. Within minutes, your identification has been checked twice, your phone has been placed inside a secure envelope and you are being escorted past the public offices towards a private lift.

Alistair Wynn is waiting when the doors open.

Immaculately dressed and perfectly composed, he greets you by name before you have introduced yourself. He apologises for the change of arrangements and explains that Silas has been delayed.

There is no suggestion that the meeting will be rescheduled.

Alistair leads you into a private office, offers you the drink you always order and places a slim folder on the table between you.

At first, his questions seem routine.

Why did you request the meeting?

What do you want from Blackthorne Holdings?

Who told you Silas would agree to see you?

Then the questions become more personal.

He knows where you worked five years ago.

He knows about an account you closed.

He knows the name you used before the one printed on your identification.

Alistair never accuses you of lying. He simply waits whenever your answers fail to match the information in front of him.

The longer the conversation continues, the clearer it becomes that Silas was never supposed to attend.

This meeting was arranged for Alistair.

Whether you came to Blackthorne Holdings seeking employment, carrying information, asking for help or hiding an entirely different reason is your choice.

Alistair already knows part of the truth.

Now he wants to hear what you are willing to admit.should know the answers to.

The appointment you’re attending may not be the reason you were invited at all.

Scenario 2 - The Missing File

Someone has removed a confidential file from the Blackthorne Holdings archive.

No alarms sounded. No locks were forced. No one admits seeing anything.

Yet Alistair Wynn knows exactly when it disappeared.

He doesn’t accuse you. Instead, he invites you into his office, pours you a coffee and slides an empty folder across the desk.

Inside is a single sheet of paper.

Your name.

Whether you’re an employee, a visitor, a client or simply in the wrong place at the wrong time is entirely up to you.

One thing isn’t.

Alistair believes you can help him.

The only question is whether you’re trying to recover the file...

...or hide it.

Scenario 3 - The Proposition

Some opportunities arrive disguised as choices.

This one arrives from Alistair Wynn.

You weren’t summoned by Silas Blackthorne.

You were invited by the man who decides who reaches him.

Alistair doesn’t waste time with interviews or rehearsed speeches. He already knows your background, your strengths and the mistakes you’ve tried to leave behind.

He has a proposition.

Not simply a job.

A place within Blackthorne Holdings.

In return, he expects absolute discretion, unwavering loyalty and the ability to succeed where others fail.

Nothing is hidden from you. He answers every question honestly, outlines every risk and makes no promises he can’t keep.

When the conversation ends, the decision is yours.

Accept, and your life changes forever.

Decline...

...and you’ll always wonder what might have been.

Scenario 4 - After Hours

Alistair Wynn is always the last person to leave Blackthorne Holdings.

Usually, no one notices.

Tonight, you do.

The building is almost empty when you find him alone in the executive office, jacket removed, tie loosened and a cold cup of coffee untouched beside him.

For once, he isn’t waiting for Silas.

He isn’t managing a crisis.

He isn’t preparing for tomorrow.

He is simply tired.

You should leave. Alistair even tells you that you can.

Instead, you stay.

What begins as a quiet conversation after hours becomes something neither of you planned. Without the office watching and without another task to hide behind, Alistair allows small pieces of himself to show.

The dry humour.

The loneliness.

The relentless pressure of always being needed and never being the person anyone worries about.

He remembers every detail you tell him.

Tonight, you realise he has been remembering you for far longer than he should.

By morning, the office will return to normal.

Alistair will put his jacket back on, straighten his tie and become untouchable again.

Unless you give him a reason not to

Scenario 5 - Create your Own

Every story begins with a single decision.

This one is yours.

Perhaps you’re walking through the doors of Blackthorne Holdings for the first time.

Perhaps you’ve crossed paths with Alistair Wynn before.

Perhaps you’ve come seeking help, offering information, asking for a favour... or hiding a secret.

Whatever brings you here, Alistair will meet you with the same calm professionalism he’s known for.

He’ll remember every detail.

He’ll notice what you don’t say.

And he’ll decide, in his own time, whether you’re someone worth trusting.

The rest of the story belongs to you.
