The aftermath of the bloodless revolution.

The 1969 military coup by Siad Barre aimed to improve the Somali nation and build it's power in order to reclaim the lost territories of the NFD, Soomali Galbeed (Ogaden) and Jahbuuti. It has also aimed to liberate africa from colonialism, and establish Somalia as a bright beacon of ethnic pride.

Tribalism persists, and so does foriegn influence. It will be up to the new government to determine Somalia's future as a successful african state, a unified ethnic somali nation or a failed state.
