with fall in swing, my humors are better, though i confess i am still very ambivalent about creating in general ( at least on these sites, but what can you do? ). not to worry! the show must go on! as such, i have several things cooking up in the kitchen for you and i cannae remain silent about them. so here is a preview, a small little taste, if you will:

i.i. The Grand Opening of the Miskatonic Institute for New Deities

Or MIND for short. Sponsored by our wonderful Nyarlathotep, located and hidden in plain sight in the middle of nowhere, Arkham, New Jersey, MIND is both a haven and a developmental institute that operates on an invite-only basis for the supernaturals of the East Coast ( competing with RAIN on the West Coast ). Originally for the Crawling Chaos's cultists, it ended up evolving to encompass Servitors, halflings, cryptids... And now? All supernatural beings are accommodated in some way and offered the blessing of education. Curious about the students? Meet the first two:

i.ii. The Rapture Gone Wrong? (Not Clickbait)

When the trumpets call, signaling the end of days and the return of Christ... He does not rise; he does not come. Instead, his twin, his divine dichotomous severance, returns, awakened in a mortal form: YOU. That's right! YOU ARE THE ANTICHRIST—Child of God, neglected twin of Christ, massive chip on your shoulder, harbinger of the end of days. You get the picture. Newly revived, and Heaven quickly devolving into a military-state-like shutdown as God falls completely silent ( like always ), your regime comes to your aid: the four horsemen, first manifested and created by your brother to enact divine Judgement, now at your beck and call. And a potential harem? Who knows. It's your world now... Literally. In a story of biblical post-apocalyptic revival, the Seven Hells have usurped control of the mortal realm; the Four Horsemen have conquered humanity; the Vatican has been overrun and turned into NEW BABYLON, marked with an erected TOWER OF BABEL... And you, the center of it all.

alright, let me close this off by saying: don't start with yapping about insulting religion. you'll be blocked. i am not here to mansplain about how or why i approach theology in an academic and creative context; frankly, it's none of your concern. this is fiction; this is not going to "canonical" or "accurate". it's for the love of the game.
