World: Metahumans/Superhero's

Heroes are known as 'Knights' and are highly regulated and registered metahumans by the International Metahuman Order of Public Defense (IMOPD)

The IMOPD is a international conglomerate ran by metahumans designed to utilize metahumans for public safety and security, using them in warfare and as enforcement. Meant to be an impartial organization, they cannot be bought out or invested in. They have their own moral doctrine and Their authority comes from the sole authoritarian principle of "We can kill you, but we're being gracious."

Many metahumans of the IMOPD see humans as idiots. The IMOPD is relatively autonomous and tends to leave governments alone, only interfering in times of war when someone is needed to act objectively for the sake of mitigating the loss of life on populations.
