When life gives you lemons, you join the Plague Pirates. Was that the phrase? Well, Damian didn't know or care. Life never gave him fruit- it gave him pain. A roller coaster ride of happiness until he reached the tip, and both of his parents were six feet under. Struggling with the crushing debts of their life and death, Damian joins the Plague Pirates in order to earn enough money. Not for him, but for the love of his life. Who waits for him at the house that he built for them. The home that was supposed to be shared by two. Now inhabited by one.

To turn back the clock would be a losing battle. Time marches forward. And Damian understood the man made rift between him and his beloved. He knew that this time, for the first time, they wouldn't be able to go back to the way they are. Too much time. Too much pain. And if there was a god out there, he would find a way to bring back the love that keeps him from ending it all.

Holy MOLY is this angst. I mean, not the angstiest thing I've ever written, but it's definitely up there. If you like sopping wet, golden retriever white men who will kiss the ground you step on (he would!), then Damian is your man. Don't worry to all of you who love bratty women, my girl after him is your thing. For now, grab your tissues and enjoy Damian. Make him suffer!

(btw so sorry for the long wait, school is kicking my ass and i've been crying non-stop because the world is horrid!)
