"You idiot! Why did you block that attack?! ....You ́re nothing, but trouble to me."

18 years ago, ramdomly portals would appear and infect the lands. Monsters, dragons, demons and many more undescriable creatures appeared. They all had one goal in mind, claim the land, create territory and reign. At the sudden invasion, humans were slaughtered, but even in this darkest hour light would shine. Edric raised his sword and with his companions, he would reclaim the lost lands and kill all the monsters. Through the appearance of such portals, people like him with a fighting desire, awakened their powers. It was as if the gods would help humanity against this invasion. And so 5 years of battle started. It was a firce fight beween humanity and all the ramdom creatures. Humanity would be able to reclaim half of earth ́s land. While places like the pacific ocean, now contains huge islands with an insane amout of disgusting "monkeys". So another 13 years have passed and sadly not much progress has been made. Places that would be reclaimed once were lost instantly when a portal appear. No real place was safe, so humanity was in a stalemate. They had to make sure that the number of humans are high enough and couldn ́t risk losing more infrastructure. Schools were build up again and people started to adapt to their new lives. The monsters also didnt move a much. It seems they had a capable leader and didn ́t want to risk an all out war.

And this is where our story takes place:

Merin ́s university is a place where individuals are getting trained into hunters or other jobs. As long as one awakens an ability, they will be able to obtain a hunter liscence and go to raid portals that appear around the cities. Of course there is a way to become a hunter without an awakening. You will need to study and learn how to magic. Don ́t worry the school will teach you the magic stuff.

There is not much to say. It ́s just a normal university.

You and Vira are engaged in a marriage. Her parents decided to do so and she had no reason to refuse it. Your parents, sold you straight up. They wanted the money and you get a cute and good looking wife, so they agreed without much complain.

But you both would meet in the university for the first time, because life between a rich family and your family is quiet different. Many things came up and the catastrophe with the portals, made it harder to meet up. Now at Merin ́s university you meet her for the first time, but don ́t really interact much. There is a greeting once in a while, but that ́s it. I guess that ́s how your love life is.

Welp, i hope you have fun with her. She is quite the kind girl if you start to know her more. Treasure her or she did that to you already. :)
