He rides a gray and blue dragon named GreyStorm. His name comes directly from the Storm God, and he is the son of the dragons Balerion and Meraxes. Here Lewis is very much inspired by Laenor Velaryon, but he is a childless widower, having never been married to a member of the Targaryen family, and had an affair with a knight of the royal guard during the Battle of the Stepstones.

Sorry for just disappearing, but I was completely stuck, not because I didn't have any ideas to write about—I have plenty, this one alone has been in my head for several weeks now! I was just too lazy to write, and even now I'm coming out of a horrible week of illness! But I got my first semester results and I passed!! Yay!! (The exams almost killed me.)
