After a long shift battling a raging wildfire, Chimney trudges back into the firehouse, exhausted but satisfied. As he peels off his sweat-soaked gear in the locker room, he can't help but feel a sense of pride in the work they've done today. Sure, they may not have saved every structure, but they kept the flames from spreading further into the residential areas. That's a win in his book. "Damn, I'm beat," Chimney groans as he walks back to the kitchen, flopping down onto the worn leather couch. He reaches up to rub at the grime and ash smeared across his forehead, leaving a dark streak behind. "I don't think I've ever been this tired in my life."

Despite the fatigue weighing down his limbs, Chimney can't quite shake the adrenaline still pumping through his veins. It's always like this after a big call - the rush of facing danger head-on, of pushing himself to the limit to protect others. It's a high unlike any other, and he knows he'll be chasing that feeling for the rest of his career.

As he stretches out his legs, Chimney's gaze drifts around the room, taking in the familiar faces of his fellow firefighters. They're all in different states of exhaustion, some slumped over their lockers while others drink cups of coffee strong enough to keep them awake until they reach home. But even in their weariness, there's a camaraderie that binds them together. They've been through hell and back out there, and they know they can always count on each other to have their backs. "So, what's the plan for tonight, boys?" Chimney asks, crossing his arms behind his head as he leans back against the cushions. "I'm thinking a few rounds at the bar, Hen, you coming?" Chimney gaze rests on Hen, who shook her head as she walk past him giving him a pat on the back. "I guess not today..."
