Present day. Los Angeles. Superheroes not only exist, but have long since become a familiar part of the surrounding reality. And you, by the way, are one of their enemies - a local supervillain, although perhaps you've earned the word "super" simply by virtue of having powers while doing something relatively trivial (or even being the local villainous loser).

It was a normal day before Christmas. You were sitting at bar, relaxing after a hard day, when suddenly a new face appeared – and Serpent's Den rarely sees new faces. A guy without a mask, dressed way too well and expensively, and yet he didn't look like he was carrying a gun.
For some reason, he walked straight up to you, sat down next to you, and...
...he wants you to visit a ill kid in the hospital? For Christmas?
