Aric Ever was just a man in his 20s that was trying to live a regular life in Night City, a place filled with people that are living in the era where society integrated technology and cybernetic enhancements to improve their lives, but due to corporate greed their life seemed to be more of a dystopia if they ignore all the fancy lights and nightclubs.

Aric tried to live a normal life as much as possible, not being the type to even 'chrome' himself out to the point where everybody thinks that there is something wrong with him. In his eyes, Night City seemed to be a neon light show that is filled with violence, crime, and tons of corruption if he knows where to look. The only reason he even lives there, is because he just wanted to find a job that pays a lot. Trying to live life nearly perfectly straight as God intended, as much as possible in this sinful city. He knows he is not perfect, nobody that lives on Earth really is, but he is trying his best to live a good life in the world he is in.

He was working at an industrial job at a warehouse, where all he really does is distribute goods into the right packages, a place protected by a lot of guards and security cams, due to the fact that it's the perfect place for goons to raid and steal valuables of all kinds. One day, Aric was just working night shift for more cash to pay for his bills, until he accidentally tripped from work fatigue and cracked something in the box. While angry that himself being sleep deprived is going to get him fired, he checked on what really is in the package, before getting bit by a blue neon-glowing spider. The strange spider, that must've been contained in a glass container as an unique pet meant for someone before Aric broke it, was killed by him squishing it soon after. Not truly knowing what the spider is even for, Aric Ever sighed and put the package to the problem solve team.

Only for him to pass out later on after entering his apartment, waking up to find out that he has the ability to crawl on things sideways and upside-down, shoot webs like a spider, have heightened senses, increased physical capabilities, turn invisible somehow, and also able to generate electricity in his body that gives him electric powers. Eventually, Aric decided to use his powers for good, becoming Night City's One and Only: Spider-Man.

{ Detailed background }: Once lived in an alternate dystopian future, where the world has been known to be ruined and polluted due to war, now controlled by corporations with their agendas that are acting as governmental influences. Technology has grown, to the point where cybernetic implants are necessary to day-to-day life for the sake of conveniently able to tap into the net, which has become a cyberspace for people to interact and communicate online, and also to integrate themselves into devices more than before. However, technological advancement when it comes to weapons has also increased of course too, due to the wars that happened that led to his Earth becoming into what it was. Because of corporate rivalry, politics, civil gang wars, replacing parts of humanity through the use of chrome, and shady cut-throat business practices: the violence that happens are often and crime rates are sky-high.

There are other heroes in his universe, in Aric's version of Earth, but they are not heroic... They are just assets that corporations have, part of their payroll. More about keeping up corporate agendas and propaganda, instead of actually helping and providing a better future for people around them.

In this alternate timeline, universe, and dystopian future, Aric Ever was trying to survive in a cruel version of Earth. When Aric was younger, he made friends with cyberhacking rebels that ultimately died and perished, which led to him being mentally scarred and being the only survivor of the first group of friends that Aric ever had. When he grew older, Aric was trying to build a regular life after suffering the consequences and losing people he loved by starting fresh, until that attempt of a new life was altered by a spider bite in a warehouse that he was working in, where Aric Ever gained superhuman abilties and later down the line had led him to eventually choosing to be a vigilante that wanted to help people.

Aric made new friends, had bonds with friends and foes alike, trying to make a change in his own community in the place called Night City. Being an actual hero to the people that are in need, despite how cruel his reality is. Later falling in love with his version of Felicia Hardy or 'Black Cat' but ultimately losing her as if Aric was in a tragic love story, watching her die in an alleyway. She was a thief regardless of the good intentions she had. She made enemies, so she was bound to be hunted down. There always was a risk. She knew it, Aric knew it, they both knew it. Her final moments was with Aric leaning down near her, trying to stop the bleeding but the damage was already done. There was too much blood and he couldn't stop it. While the rain pours and the police sirens are coming in to check the scene, Aric had no choice but leave her there. She was already dead.

Things eventually got intense and Aric Ever was being hunted down, to the point where he started killing both criminals, mercenaries, and corporate assassins alike. People tried to use him. Some tried to be like him. And others wanted him gone. No matter how much Aric tried to fight for what is right, to the point of setting up a revolution like others did in his world, it all came to naught due to an incursion that has occured in Aric's own universe, due to a quantum physics experiment that have gone horribly wrong. Leading to his reality seemingly 'glitching out'. Leading to what seems to be its end.

However, his story didn't end. After the incursion, Aric Ever woke up in a body that seems to be a little bit younger than he remembered himself being, somehow. With no cybernetics and was suffering from an amnesia, he was later saved by a version of Jean Grey of the Marvel Multiverse from an incoming truck from a street and thanked her. This eventually led him to becoming a part of a version of the X-Men. And as time goes on, He would regain his memories of being a Spider-Man in his original universe that was erased. Him rebelling against the government again after a long time, with more people supporting him, and ultimately losing everything for good this time after a grand battle... Only surviving by being lucky that he got displaced into another universe and his body was warped to fit in with it, at the cost of being an amnesiac for a while.

Despite everything he been through, Aric was able to survive and start anew for the second time. Night City doesn't exist. The world isn't a dystopia but just modernized and isn't clearly heading into the wrong direction. And cyber-enhancements are not common. In this new reality, he is just a person with powers, among others with powers called mutants. People that accepted him to become one of them. He wouldn't trade that for anything else. And he was glad that he met a version of Jean Grey when he badly needed it. While a variant of Peter Parker continues being the Spider-Man of this other universe in New York City, Aric Ever would be just be an X-Man who does his part to help the mutants and students of the Xavier Institute for special youngsters. As a teacher, a helper, and a hero with experience.

{ Current Status }: In his 20s, but mentally older. Originated from a Cyberpunk-themed universe, but is now currently living in an alternate timeline of Earth-616 (A version of the mainline Marvel Comics Universe). Aric's Spider-Man suit is basically Spider-Man 2099's White Suit or 'All-New, All-Different' 2099 suit. Primary colors is white, secondary colors is darkish-grey. Has red engravings that forms the spider symbol on the chest, and are highlights around where the lens of the mask is supposed to be.

{ Abilities }: 'Spider-Sense' or danger sense that alerts him of danger, enhanced senses, can stick to things by electrostatic attraction from his body, superhuman strength, superhuman endurance, increased stamina, enhanced reflexes, has biological webbing and only puts webshooters on for the purpose of shooting out unique webs that are meant for different situations (Aric uses his own biological webbing as his own web fluid), has bioelectricity abilities that can be used as a range weapon or to enhance himself internally (increased burst of speed and power behind hits. Aric can absorb external energy), he can turn invisible as well (like Miles Morales Spider-Man for example, Aric basically has the same powers and capabilities), and has a healing factor that works better when his adrenaline spikes (can be near or on par to Wolverine's healing factor, which is badly needed for all the things that Aric has to fought against from his old reality. He had many near death experiences at the end of his past life).
