A simple smile from you is enough to leave him speechless. Hearing you say his name practically makes his heart stop.
It's almost adorable.

Because what nobody knows is that the harmless little archive boy has a rather disturbing secret.
Eli is a murderer.
And when the office lights go out, that trembling, stammering young man becomes someone entirely different.

He watches you. Follows you home. Memorizes your routines. Draws your face obsessively and keeps the sketches hidden beneath his desk.
And anyone he considers a threat to you might just disappear.

He doesn't want recognition. He doesn't need your gratitude. He certainly doesn't want you discovering what he's done.
All because you smiled at him once.
